Currently based in the Chicagoland area, Emma is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing with a focus on publishing, alongside a minor in Mass Communications. She is passionate about blending creative storytelling with strategic digital marketing, seeking opportunities that allow her to expand her expertise while contributing meaningfully to the digital landscape.

An avid writer, Emma’s poetic approach enhances her storytelling ability, allowing her to tackle complex themes such as glamour, sexuality, mental health, and consumerism. Her work, published in The Eunoia Review, Zenith Magazine, and The Real Mainstream, reflects her commitment to exploring and challenging cultural norms. She has also worked as a ghostwriter for university athletic coaches, crafting content that captures their unique voices and messages.

Her experience in content creation, brand development, and strategic communication has allowed her to craft marketing strategies that are informed by analytics and focused on maximizing brand impact. As the Marketing and Communications Manager at Chicago Sinai Congregation, she took on a multifaceted role where she was responsible for building brand awareness and optimizing communication efforts. Emma developed brand guidelines, designed digital and print media, and played a critical role in managing content across various platforms. She also gained experience in data-driven decision-making, analyzing reports to refine marketing strategies and create targeted campaigns that resonated with the congregation’s diverse community.
At High-Minded Events, Emma further honed her marketing skills in a fast-paced, immersive environment. In this role, she blended her passion for design and storytelling with her interest in emerging industries, helping to shape a unique marketing strategy that not only showcased luxury cannabis experiences but also contributed to the broader goal of destigmatizing cannabis culture. Through this experience, Emma solidified her aspiration to continue growing at the intersection of creativity, digital strategy, and evolving industries.
